A new quarter is at hand. I was working away in support of The Daily Outsider as we geared up for the new Quarter. Although the properties will continue to evolve, the team wanted to "hit the ground" running"--I also was on throughout the weekend to do what I can to help elevate the discussions on Puerto Rico as President Trump was in New Jersey attending President's Cup.
As part of my on-going commitments to the Daily Outsider, I had a chance to catch up on the latest productions of the Voice of America Farsi Service--with its' latest on the continued deep seated corruption in Iran today. This is as the Trump Adminstration (enabled by the Conservative Media) is working to prepare the Public for the withdrawal from the Iran Deal to further deflect from the failures that commentators including CNN's & the Resurgent lambasting President Trump's action. Erick Erickson's Closing thoughts was telling: "...So I have deleted my former post and he can stand or fall on the merits of his tweets this morning. Yay, President Trump punched a critic — a critic who is on an island trying her best to help others where most of the people now have no homes, no power, and no running water. What a man he is! Updated: worth pointing out, as Susan noted, that the President also had the luxury of tweeting his responses from the comfort of his country club in New York while the mayor of San Juan is sleeping on a cot in a shelter. And he thought the optics of Tom Price on private planes were bad....." However, his writers continues their "equal opportunity" attack late last night. This is also as the GOP implosion continued as John Kasich hinted he would leave the GOP--which prompted a Tweet from Steve Bannon threatening to sue Governor Kasich if he did not take John McCain with him.
Today is the day India is remembering Gandhi Ji. I did a "book-End" on my Twitter Feed last night as I yearned for our generations Gandhi. Today is also a day (that our team noted about announcements regarding the Nobel Prize which will be interesting to be witness to). I took comfort in this I got from the great Jonathan Lockwood Huie that is a good way to formally begin the new Quarter:
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.

A life lived in fear is a life half lived.

There can be no happiness when one lives in fear.
Whatever the future holds, fear will not improve tomorrow,
and it will destroy your happiness today.- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
As I continued working away I picked this up from The Indian Prime Minister Personal Twitter Feed:
