Out & About with #RandomThoughts For the W_End

It has been quite a week as America swore in a New President.  I had the pleasure to be on the prowl for the Daily Outsider working away.

I decided to share two very uplifting clips from #Inauguration Day 2021 as I begin a final week of January and gear up for a column towards the end of the month on the first month of January 2021:  The Morning Prayer Service and  memorable performances:

#RandomThoughts on this #MLKDay2021....

We've had profound challenging times--but a lot to be thankful for on this #MLKDay2021.

I had the opportunity to attend a Virtual Workshop sponsored by the Biden-Harris Inaugural Committee on Sunday and the insights were fabulous.    I will do my part to serve in my local Catholic Parish Pantry Today as I also wanted to share this "Virtual Good Turn" as a small token of thanks for my family as one ordinary grateful dude:

Good news, your native tree gift
is being planted

We’re pleased to let you know that your native tree gift to Forest of Hope has been matched to a planting project!  Your tree gift will be planted by Wakatipu Reforestation Trust.  To find out more about this planting project check out Wakatipu Reforestation Trust’s Tree Profile.

Thanks for being a part of the Trees That Count mission to see millions more native trees planted throughout New Zealand.

I look to joining the COVID-19 Memorial Tomorrow:

Out & About With Brief #RandomThoughts For the W-End....

While on the prowl, I decided to call up this clip from the Iranian Diva Googosh.   The title of the song means, "Tomorrow is at hand"-and it is a message of hope and an admonition for us all to dispel worries and stay hopeful.   It struck a cord especially as America faced an insurrection and as in Iran, profound challenges abound...

#RandomThoughts For the Week-End

Sometimes images are worth billions of words & Tweets, as It is a pleasure to help showcase the wonderful work done by the families of PS752 remembering those angels who perished on the air a year ago.

As I note this, I also wanted to underscore what Mr. Vahedi , one of the leading voices of dissent in Iran, noted recently :  How all victims and their families of the past 42 years of the Islamic Republic's Murderous rule in Iran not be forgotten:

Out & About With Brief Mid-Week #RandomThoughts Remembering the Angels of #PS752 (w/Updated Comments)

Tomorrow is a day of remembrance to remember the victims of Flight PS752.   The PS752 Justice Organization has called for a candlelight vigilance tomorrow and Friday.  I will be joining it as I note this from Mehdi Yarrahi who dedicated this to the angels of Flight 752:

As I write this, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were within 27 Electoral Votes to affirm their election as President and Vice President of the United States as I join a candlelight Vigil in memory of the fallen of PS752 as I proudly note that #IWillLightACandleTo:

Out & About On This First Sunday Of 2021....

It has been a challenging weeks dealing with the the aftermath of COVID in our World  with all whom we've lost and all who are at the forefront of the fight.    There is still a lot to be thankful for with some of the provisions at hand as I continue to remain hopeful in spite of the challenges.   An old thought I ran across from my Facebook archives above  struck a cord!!!

As I gear up for my first edition of #RandomThoughts for the New Week (after January 6) I decided to look back by paying  homage to a great man who was killed by the Taliban in Afghanistan:

I also ran across this clip done by an Iranian Singer with a praise for Freedom in Iran --although the lyrics are in Farsi, the scenes are powerful and the message is simple:  Iran must be free:

I will be joining a candlelight vigil called for by the victims of the Ukraine Airlines PS752 on January 7 as I again pay homage to all those angels who were brutally murdered by the Islamic Republic:

I had the pleasure to support them when they launched and look forward to being supportive in whatever way that I can.
