Monday, May 27 is Memorial Day. This federal holiday allows us to pay tribute to Americans who've died in military service. In their honor, please observe a 
moment of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.local time on May 27.

"Around Town"...

It has been of concern as the Mirador Community has experienced a number of vehicle break-ins recently.  The need to be vigilant and aware is ever more important.    We will have further thougths & ideas throughout the ensuing weeks and months on being aware and being safe.

The City of Laguna Niguel is also offering a number of Community Seminars on safety for families that is hereby noted below:

CITY OF LAGUNA NIGUEL OFFERS INTERNET SAFETY FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN On May 16, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. you can learn how to be a cyber-safe parent.  The city is offering an Internet Safety workshop for parents and kids at the Laguna Niguel City Hall Community Room at 30111 Crown Valley Parkway.  This will be presented by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, and the cost is free.  Space is limited, so please call Deputy Rodriguez at 949-362-4306 to reserve your seat.

CITY OF LAGUNA NIGUEL OFFERS WORKSHOP ON DRUG TRENDS-PARENTS ONLY  On May 23, 2013 AT 6:00 p.m. come to the Laguna Niguel city hall at 30111 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA, 92677, for a presentation by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.  The topic is Local and Current Drug Trends, and it is for parents only.  The speakers are local high school resource officers.  Seating is limited, so please RSVP at 949-362-4306 to reserve your seat
