Out & About with some Mid-Month #RandomThoughts

It has been quite a month and quite a year.   I had the pleasure to be supportive of the Purdue Day of Giving and was grateful for this simple act of gracious kindness by Purdue:

I have also been reflecting upon Iran as the so-called Presidential Elections loom.  As I am writing this, I am listening to a Club House on the Iranian Elections.    I decided to do some readings on History and captured a few of the "images" on a "Grid" depicting the times of Cyrus the Great:

Some will say this is all nostalgia--but it is a sense of pride that is critical to understand as the struggles of 85 Million Iranians Continue unabated. Iran deserves more than what it has right now.

It was also a week of challenges at times.  I have been continuing work at the Daily Outsider on Projects and involved with other projects.   I took comfort in these complied by the fab team of Jonathan Lockwood Huie & Vala Afshar:

A dream doesn't become reality through magic;
it takes sweat, determination and hard work.
- Colin Powell

Success is 10 percent inspiration and 90 percent perspiration.
- Thomas A. Edison

If you dream of something worth doing
and then simply go to work on it
and don't think anything of personalities,
or emotional conflicts, or of money,
or of family distractions;
it is amazing how quickly
you get through those 5,000 steps.
- Edwin Land

Vision without action is merely a dream.
Action without vision just passes the time.
Vision with action can change the world.
- Joel A. Barker

To lead a great life:
Dream, Take Action, Repeat.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Some people dream of success
while others wake up and work hard at it.
