Last week was the 43rd Anniversary of Iran's Revolution. It was a time again to reflect and I finished some #RandomThoughts. For this "mid-month", I decided to pull together some of the political analysis on Iran. The first clip was courtesy Voice of America featuring Dr. Abbas Milani on the real history and how the Revolution came about. It was tough to listen to.
I also have been assessing the situation in Ukraine and helped pull together a new what we call the "Virtual Route 66" which was published earlier this week. What amazes me is how Putin is being the bully as he presides over a Mafia-Like structure as the invasion of Ukraine looms--over 40 Countries have directed their citizens to leave Ukraine. These are indeed challenging times evermore!!
As I finish off these thoughts, I decided to again close out with some ways I have been trying to make a difference through a contribution to the World Community Grid as I pulled together a "snapshot" of Iran today--It is in Farsi but the analysis on the realities of Iranians suffering is disheartening to observe:
