While Out & About On This Week-End With some W-End #RandomThoughts

I am working away as I wanted to note how lucky I was to have done my Vaccinations.   It is unfortunate how folks are skeptical and there is opposition to Vaccines and masks.   I can only hope that reason prevails.

Othena
Dear s michael,
Congratulations! You have completed the entire vaccination process and are immunized against COVID-19. This is not only an important step in your personal health journey, but vital to our entire community as we work together to beat the COVID-19 pandemic.
As you were informed at your first vaccination, you may experience one or more of the more common side effects associated with this vaccine 24-48 hours after your appointment, including but not limited to:
  • Soreness at the site of injection
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Muscle aches
  • Chills
  • Joint pain
  • Fever
Contact your healthcare provider if symptoms last longer than 24-48 hours or if you experience more than mild symptoms.
While the vaccine is incredibly effective, it is possible that an individual will contract COVID-19 while in the process of, or after, being vaccinated. That’s why it’s critical that we all maintain appropriate COVID-19 safety protocols, even after vaccination.
This includes wearing a mask, washing and sanitizing your hands often, avoiding gatherings, and maintaining social distancing with those outside of your immediate family until an end has been declared to this pandemic.
Finally, we also encourage you to let your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and others know about Othena.com so they can register as well, and perhaps, if they’re eligible, schedule an appointment to get vaccinated, like you, for COVID-19.
Again, congratulations and thanks for using Othena to support your journey to immunization against COVID-19.
Sincerely,
Othena
